Biography

After serving as a children's pastor for over 10 years, Josh transitioned all his vocational energies toward KidMin Science. Josh is a seasoned educator with BA in Chemistry Education, a MA in Effective Instruction, and earned National Board Certification in Young Adult and Adolescent Science. As a former High School chemistry teacher, Josh melded his love for Science and Christ, creating “The Amazing Chemistry Show”, a traveling gospel-centered stage show with fire, explosions and foam. Carrying this Ministry of Chemistry even further, Josh created three “Science VBS” curricula.

About the Amazing Chemistry Show

The Amazing Chemistry Show is a 32-foot stage production filled with fire, explosions and foam, all set to music. With audience involvement, laughter and fun, a S.T.E.M. based presentation is clearly communicated using powerful science experiments.


As a former High School Chemistry Teacher with a Masters in Effective Instruction, Josh knows the value of a quality production for communicating S.T.E.M. Learning. Josh achieved National Board Certification in Your Adult/Adolescent Science and has been nationally recognized as a science educator. Josh has been featured on Public Television broadcasts teaching science.

How can you incorporate the Amazing Chemistry Show into your event?

Are you looking for an event that will engage and inspire the entire family? The Family Experience is a highly interactive event, allowing families to explore over 150 individual hands-on science experiences at their own pace. Families freely investigate a diverse cross-section of activities across multiple scientific disciplines. This self-directed "Traveling Science Center" allows enriching, inquiry-based interactions to evoke wonder within a powerful context - the family. A typical Family Experience is a 2-3 hour event, located in a large meeting space like a gym or cafeteria, lined with 20, eight-foot tables, each packed with "science stuff" to touch, see and explore. Everyone participates! Everyone is involved! This stimulating series of hands-on science experiences takes science learning to the next level.
